How To Integrate Memberium With Infusionsoft

November 6, 2017 By Teena Rose

How to Integrate Memberium & Infusionsoft

Integrating your Memberium membership site with Infusionsoft can be one of the most profitable “marriages” for your business.

In short, Infusionsoft helps control what paid (and non-paid) visitors on your member site can see based on permissions that you assign (e.g. tags).

Getting Started With Your Memberium & Infusionsoft Integration

You should know right up front that Memberium integrates seamlessly with Infusionsoft.

Yup!

If you know how to install a WordPress plug-in, you can install Memberium and connect it to your Infusionsoft account with ease.

At this point, I’m presuming that you have an Infusionsoft account and have created at least one campaign sequence.

This is important because it tells me that you have some knowledge of how Infusionsoft works.

Once connected, Memberium and Infusionsoft TALK AMONGST THEMSELVES and give you control over what people can see/can not see on your site.

Not sure what you can use Memberium for?

Oh wow. You are definitely in for a treat!

Memberium enables you to add an entire backend of content and deliverables to your website that are segmented by an audience.

For example:

Memberium can help you deliver:

  • Employee training/new-hire docs
  • Marketing materials to affiliates
  • Prospect/client downloads
  • Lead magnets

Want another great use for Memberium? Use Memberium to provide free member accounts to visitors. Then, you can “repackage” your site’s content based on a few survey questions.

How to Integrate Memberium With Infusionsoft

If you have a good level of understanding on how Infusionsoft works, keep reading…

First, join Memberium and download the Memberium .zip file.

Most businesses will need only the $47/month Standard package. But, if you’re serial business owners like us, you’ll find yourself bumping to the $87/month Pro package in no time.

Second, once your .zip file has downloaded to your computer, log into your WordPress account, go to plugins, click add new and upload.

Voila!

Screenshot - Welcome to Memberium

Once installed, you will notice a new tab with a heart icon at the right of your dashboard.

The latest version of Memberium has a “Start Here” tab, which is where you should start. There, you’ll notice a list of tasks and goals you should be focused on as a new Memberium customer.

If you’re concerned that Memberium is a “one trick pony,” don’t be.

Memberium integrates with many others in your tech stack, including:

  • LearnDash
  • WooCommerce
  • ActiveCampaign
  • OptimizePress
  • BuddyPress
  • ClickFunnels

For a more in-depth list of the themes, shopping carts, CRMs, and learning platforms that Memberium integrate with, click here for Memberium’s list of integrations.

Applying Your Memberium Membership Level Tags

Once you have Memberium installed, you will want to create your first membership level under Memberium -> Memberships.

If you have a tag already created in Infusionsoft that will give members access to the member site, then click on “Create New Membership Level,” name and apply your tag to that level.

If you don’t have a tag already created in Infusionsoft, use Memberium’s Tag Builder Pro to handle this for you.

Membership Levels - Memberium

Notice the checkbox titled, “Include SUSP/CANC” under the Tag Builder Pro section?

You might not have given this much thought, but you will want to assign tags that GIVE your members access to their member area, but also create PAYF (payment failure) and CANC (canceled membership) tags that TAKE AWAY access when needed.

No matter how good your onboarding program is, or how nice you are to members, you will experience cancellations.

This is when you want automation to kick in.

You WANT your Infusionsoft app to add PAYF tag and remove an active member tag when a member’s card is declined.

Intro to Memberium Partials

Memberium Partials are bits of content you want to show ONLY to certain people.

For example, maybe you have certain members you know will need one-on-one coaching at some point. You know this because you were smart enough to ask a few survey questions when these members joined, so you became immediately aware of their need.

Armed with this knowledge, you could create a partial that displays ONLY to these folks. The partial is displayed based on a tag.

See what I mean! Memberium (integrated with Infusionsoft) is awesome!!!

I’ll write more about how to leverage Memberium Partials in a later post.

In Conclusion

Integrating Memberium membership functionality to your WordPress site and Infusionsoft CRM can add a new layer of functionality (and revenue) to your business.

3 Little-Known Secrets For Writing Great Blog Titles

September 22, 2017 By Teena Rose

Did you know that a page in a lower search engine result position (SERP) can draw traffic away from a page in a #1 position?

A lower ranking page does this in part by having a strong title. Somewhat “stealing” traffic away from top-ranked pages.

Cool, right?

Before you do anything, do this …

Spend time examining what grabs your attention when reviewing search engine search results.

What makes you click?
What is there about blog titles that earn your click?
How often do you click on the first website versus one in another position?

Easy Formula To Help You Optimize Your Post Titles

Post titles need to incite emotion (grab attention) and then action (click).

Doing this requires you to appeal to the emotions of potential site visitors.

For example, you could:

* Offer shock value (e.g. “why websites are no longer feasible”)

* Provide easy steps to resolve a specific problem (e.g. moving from full-time to part-time)

* Touch on certain pain points (e.g. trouble obtaining clients)

3 Little-Known Secrets For Writing Great Blog Titles

To goal here is to write UNIQUE, CLICK-WORTHY blog titles. Here are tools and tips to help:

1. Use RhymeZone.com to find words that rhyme.

Yup. That’s right!

4 Action Tips To Reduce Stress & Avoid Business Burnout

September 20, 2017 By Teena Rose

Stress Deserves Your Undivided Attention When Building a Business & Dealing With Good (+Bad!) Clients

As you’re aware, stress has been linked to common health problems, such as insomnia, mood swings, marital discontent, and forgetfulness. Oh, and let’s not overlook chronic health issues, such as cancer, disease, and mental illness.

Overlooking stress is not something any of us should do if we want to continue being successful business professionals. Our mental and physical stability should be at the top of our priority list.

We can’t always avoid stress. Though we can nip it in the bud before it becomes an issue.

There are 4 major ways to relieve stress:

  • Avoid Blue Light
  • Meditation
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
  • Exercise

1. Blue Light

Do you work on your computer into the wee hours of the night?

If so, you might not know of the dangers caused by blue light found in modern electronics and how its exposure can have a negative impact on how you sleep.

A lack of rejuvenating sleep can increase your stress levels.

An article written by CNet.com stated, “Study after study after study has shown that light given off by electronics affects our sleep health. The consensus is that the blue light that LED screens give off can slow or halt the production of melatonin, the hormone that signals our brain that it’s time for bed.”

If your computer and electronics usage is contributing to unhealthy stress levels, then it’s time to look into blue light block glasses and reducing your exposure to blue light altogether.

ACTION PLAN #1

For the next few days, wear your blue light blocking glassess as well as cut back on the usage of electronics. Assess your stress level after those few days. Do you feel better? Worse? The same? If you feel better, great! If your stress is about the same or you don’t feel better, give this experiment a few more days, just to be sure.

2. TM

Transcendental Meditation, also known as TM, is another great way for relieving stress and clearing your thoughts.

Meditation isn’t new. In fact, meditation has been around for centuries.

There’s “something to meditation” because many, many people swear by it (including me!).

Check out these stars who enjoy the stress-relieving benefits of meditation:

  • Jerry Seinfeld
  • Clint Eastwood
  • Eva Longoria
  • Katy Perry
  • Ringo Starr
  • Jennifer Aniston

Know right up front that learning TM through an instructor isn’t cheap.

I paid my instructor more than $1K for a 3-day training.

Despite the investment, meditation has been THE BEST thing I have ever done for myself … and my business!

Meditation reduces stress, provides brain clarity, and keeps me focused. These abilities have translated to huge profits, making the $1K investment completely inconsequential.

Honestly, my only regret was not learning meditation sooner.

Meditation has been a game-changing experience for me.

To learn more about TM, here’s a brief introduction:

ACTION PLAN #2

Learn more about meditation via YouTube.com. Also, check out TM.org and sign up to take one of their upcoming training sessions. You won’t regret your decision!

3. EFT

My recommended third method … heck, you may not have heard of.

Honestly, I only heard of the technique around 2011 or so.

At first, the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) seems absolutely bizarre. But, once you learn it, you won’t be able to deny the results.

The EFT method will help you…

  • Keep a level head while starting your new venture
  • Remain focused on the business tasks at hand
  • Take business obstacles in stride, realizing that challenges are temporary and a normal part of the process

To learn more about how EFT works, check out this instructional video on YouTube:

ACTION PLAN #3

Give EFT a try — despite the initial weirdness you’ll feel. EFT should provide you with near-immediate relief, which is important when dealing with demanding and stressful clients or struggling with the idiocracies of your business.

4. Exercise

Exercise is that “thing” we all know we should do because it pumps endorphins into our bodies. Yet, we foolishly find excuse after excuse to avoid it.

If you’re dealing with stress, stop reading this article right now and immediately put a plan into action to improve your physical activity.

Here are 3 tips to boost your exercise regimen:

  • Find a walking partner and arrange a daily walking schedule
  • Pick up a physical hobby, such as gardening
  • Join a gym, such as Planet Fitness, and attend one or two of the weekly exercise classes (e.g. Yoga)

Take notice how my recommendations also “get you away from your desk.” Simply taking time away from client projects and building your business can also go a long way to helping reduce stress.

ACTION PLAN #4

Pop over to your Facebook page or call a friend that will commit to helping you with a new exercise plan. Also, specify exact days and times. Doing this will help you stay committed.
